The Strasburg Senior Center will hold a craft show, bake sale and raffles and will offer food for sale on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Strasburg United Methodist Church, 206 W. Second St., Strasburg.

Brenda Bayer, chairman, said 43 vendors will display their wares on two floors of the church. About a dozen raffle baskets will contain items such as gift certificates, Lynn Drive-In items, quilts, Summit Racing, WJER, Hillcrest Garden Center and more. Weaver Appliance has donated a Tiffany lamp that was in the former Manor Restaurant that will be raffled. A drawing will be held each hour. There is an elevator.

Donations of baked items can be brought to the center to donate to the bake sale. Volunteers also are needed to help. The vendors are asked to donate an item to the Carpenter’s Cupboard, which is held the third Thursday of each month in the church.

Ray Owens will offer kettle corn for sale outside the church. Other vendors will sell holiday center pieces and ornaments, purses, jewelry, soaps, honey and tea, grave pillows, Tastefully Simple, hand-painted bricks, stuffed animals, wooden items and more. The food booth menu will include hot dogs, pizza, creamed-chicken sandwiches, chips, beverages and desserts.
