Aultman Angel Auction coming to Canton Civic Center

The community is invited to join the women’s board of Aultman Hospital for the 2024 Angel Auction on Saturday, May 4 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. This year’s theme is “Run for the Roses: A Night of Bourbon, Bids and Bow Ties.” The event will have entertainment, dining, and competitive bidding in silent and live auctions, all set against the backdrop of Derby-day elegance.
All proceeds from this year’s event will continue to support the women’s board’s ongoing commitment to surgical suite enhancements at Aultman Hospital. These enhancements include equipment and services designed to improve patient care and outcomes.
“We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of our community, and we believe that enhancing our surgical suites is vital to delivering the best care possible,” said Dr. Steven Kelly, medical director of surgical services. “The generosity of our community and the hard work of the women’s board are making a tangible difference in our ability to serve and heal. We are grateful for their support and dedication.”
Kaleen Lemon and Nancy Barton are serving as co-chairs of the Angel Auction and say they’re looking forward to bringing their passion and ideas to this year’s event.
“It’s a privilege to lead the Angel Auction, especially with a theme that celebrates the spirit of the Kentucky Derby,” Barton said. “We’re excited to create a memorable night that not only entertains, but also significantly contributes to the important cause of enhancing the surgical capabilities at Aultman Hospital.”
This year the silent auction will go live online on Friday, April 26 at 8 a.m., offering an array of items and experiences for early bidding. The women’s board aims to build on the success of previous years by leveraging technology and community spirit to reach their fundraising goals.
