Pomerene gets accreditation status for their sleep program
Pomerene Hospital announced its approval of accreditation status for its sleep program by Accreditation Commission for Health Care.
Achieving accreditation is a process where health-care organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Accreditation by ACHC reflects an organization’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.
ACHC is a not-for-profit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986. ACHC is ISO 9001:2008 certified and has CMS Deeming Authority for Home Health, Hospice and DMEPOS.
“Achieving this level of accreditation shows our commitment to excellence by meeting the highest national standards for sleep services,” said Teresa Balder, director of outpatient services at Pomerene Hospital. “Meeting these specific quality and process standards shows our dedication to high-level service in our sleep lab, and I am very grateful to our entire sleep lab team for providing the highest level of care to all of our patients.”
