Kevin Hamsher, director of materials management at Union Hospital in Dover, has announced two appointments in the department. Aimee Robson, of Tuscarawas, has been named manager of purchasing and the storeroom. A graduate of Indian Valley High School, Robson began her career at Union Hospital in 2003 after serving in the U.S. Air Force, where she worked as a purchaser for two of the largest Air Force hospitals. She earned a double bachelor’s degree in organizational management and health services management from Malone University. Hamsher also announced that Dover native Adam Bott has recently assumed the position of purchasing buyer. Bott graduated from Dover High School and has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Kent State University. Both Robson and Bott are pleased with their decisions to find local opportunities to advance their careers. “I always wanted to stay around here and feel fortunate that I was able to find a good job that I enjoy in my hometown,” said Bott. Robson echoes Bott’s feelings about working in her home community. “I am glad that I decided to come back to Tuscarawas County,” said Robson. “I feel a great sense of satisfaction in knowing that my role in a support service capacity at the hospital makes a difference in our patients’ experiences right here in my own community.”
