Wayne health dept. hosting community health fair
The Wayne County Health Department will host its first community health fair on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its new location, 244 W. South St., Wooster. Several healthcare, social service and mental health organizations will be on hand to answer questions with some offering health screenings. Light refreshments also will be provided.
“We are excited to be hosting a health fair of this nature for the community for the first time,” said Dr. Nick Cascarelli, Wayne County health commissioner. “We are hopeful this will become an annual event. It is an excellent and convenient opportunity for the residents to learn more about the various services many of our healthcare, mental health and social service agencies in Wayne County offer.”
