Ada Martha (Coblentz) Troyer
Ada Martha (Coblentz) Troyer, age 81 of 3581 Winklepleck Road in Sugarcreek, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, after a period of declining health.
Ada was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Hartville to the late Moses A. and Lydia Ann (Erb) Coblentz. She was a homemaker and member of the New Order Amish Church.
Ada is survived by her husband, John M. Troyer, whom she married on May 19, 1962; her children, Rosanna (William) Nelson of Big Prairie, Reuben Troyer of Spokane, Washington, Sharon Troyer of Millersburg, John Mark (Martha) Troyer of Sugarcreek, James (Norma) Troyer of Millersburg, Susan (Robert) Demuth of New Philadelphia, Erma (David Lee) Miller of Millersburg and Ada Marie Troyer of Sarasota, Florida; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Fannie Miller of Apple Creek, Clara Miller of Martinsburg, Peter Coblentz of Shreve, Mary Huprich of Ragersville, John (Connie) Coblentz of Linden, Tennessee, Lillie (Ray) Gingerich of Sarasota, Florida, Moses (Irene) Coblentz of Ashland, Anna Troyer of Sarasota, Florida and Emma Miller of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and sister-in-law, Lea Coblentz of Ft. Myers, Florida.
In addition to her parents, Ada is preceded in death by twin daughters; a grandson, Nathaniel Miller; brothers, Andrew Coblentz and Paul Coblentz; and brothers-in-law, Atlee Miller, Emanuel Miller, David Troyer and Lester Miller.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 11 at 9 a.m. at the Troyer residence with Bishop Micah Hershberger officiating. Burial will be in Hershberger Cemetery in Tuscarawas County. Friends may call anytime after 6 p.m. on Monday and anytime on Tuesday at the Troyer residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
