HCA has upcoming classes
                        

Holmes Center for the Arts will host several classes and events in November.

Alcohol ink exploration with Karen Drongowski for teens and adults will be Friday, Nov. 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. for $25. Attendees will explore this new medium and create works on canvas and ceramic tile.

Parents’ Night Out will be Friday, Nov. 10. Parents can drop off their kids and pick them up anytime from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Kids will rotate between stations of their choice of crafts, games, obstacle courses and movies, all led by HCA’s advanced ballet dancers and staff. Space is limited, so register in advance on the HCA website at www.holmescenterforthearts.org. The evening is by donation only and is being held as a fundraiser for new “Waltz of the Flowers” costumes.

Fraktur Christmas/holiday workshop with Marlea Hershberger-Leinbach for teens and adults will be Saturday, Nov. 18 from 1-3:30 p.m. for $15 ($5 for penholder and nibs or bring your own). Attendees will learn this German lettering and design technique. Artwork can easily be printed for Christmas cards.

A live wreath making with Petals and Co. florist Jeri Fair for teens and adults will be Monday, Nov. 20 from 6-7 p.m. for $55.
