Historical Society hosts ice cream social
An ice cream social in honor of National Dairy Month will be open to the public at the Ragersville Historical Society Museum at 8800 Crooked Run Road in Sugarcreek on Sunday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as a salute to the area’s dairy-farming heritage. Ice cream will be served along with sandwiches, cookies and old-fashioned lemonade.
The society operates the museum located in the restored Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1830 School House, Replica of Conrad Rager’s Log House and Jacob Steiner Cheese House. All buildings will be open, and admission is free.
The RHS is currently working on restoring The Youngen General Store and The Wine Cellar.
Donations are appreciated and will be used for operating and maintaining the museum.
