Tax bills have been mailed for Holmes County
Holmes County real-estate taxes and manufactured home taxes are due Wednesday, July 17.
Anyone who has not received a tax bill should call the Treasurer’s Office at 330-674-5871. Failure to receive a tax bill does not eliminate responsibility for payment of taxes and any penalty or interest accrued.
A penalty of 10 percent will be applied to all bills received after July 17. Allow ample time for your mail carrier to pick up your mail and to be postmarked on or before the due date.
To ensure proper credit, include the bottom half of the tax bill when making your payment to the Holmes County Treasurer, 75 E. Clinton St., Suite 105, Millersburg, OH 44654.
Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Payments can be made by mail, postmarked by July 17, by credit card, E-Check or by using the after-hours drop box at the front of the East Clinton Street office building.
All county offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
