County firewood list to be updated
The excess wood will not be cut to firewood lengths but will be the largest random lengths that will fit in the county’s tandem dump trucks.
The season for trimming and cutting roadside trees is again approaching for the Tuscarawas County Road and Bridge Department. The department is updating the list of citizens who want to have firewood dumped at their property.
The excess wood will not be cut to firewood lengths but will be the largest random lengths that will fit in the county’s tandem dump trucks. The cost will be $75 per tandem truck load dumped. Due to operations, it cannot be guaranteed when or if specific individuals will get firewood, as wood will be hauled to the nearest available location.
