Cruze for a Cure at Spurgeon Chevrolet
The Cruze, which is adorned with a vibrant pink bow on the side, is part of Spurgeon Chevrolet’s Cruze for a Cure campaign. In the contest, Spurgeon Chevrolet will give away a 2013 Chevy Cruze, with the proceeds raised from the campaign to benefit Relay For Life.
A number of local American Cancer Society Relay For Life counties are participating, including Holmes County Relay For Life. On hand at the Killbuck event were Julia Patterson and Heidi Bowman, who were working hard to peddle the 200 tickets allotted to Holmes County Relay For Life.
“Relay For Life is selling tickets throughout our region, and we at Holmes County are part of the fun,” said Patterson. “I know they have been to Dalton, and now here so far.
“I think a lot of the allure is that someone can win a new 2013 Chevy Cruze for $10, and that is pretty exciting.”
