The East Central Ohio Forestry Association will have a meeting on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Dover Public Library, and Aaron White of Stillwater Outfitters will give a presentation on opportunities for canoeing and kayaking in East Central Ohio.

Stillwater Outfitters endeavors to educate and assist outdoor enthusiasts in the area of canoeing and kayaking on area waterways. Their focus is on safety and fun, and they offer interactive courses, classes and demos throughout the year. While ECOFA does not endorse any particular business, it does encourage people to get out and enjoy the outdoors, whether that be in a forest, on the water or just hiking.

ECOFA is an organization interested in improving woodlands and in forestry-related topics. The public is invited to attend the free meetings that are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Dover Public Library, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover.
