Garden event May 4 in Brewster
The Brewster Sugar Creek Township Historical Society, a nonprofit located in Brewster, will hold a garden event on May 4 at the Wandle House Museum, 45 Wabash Ave. S., Brewster, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Master Gardener Rita Mullet will give a presentation on raising vegetables in containers. There also will be a Fairy House and Fairy Door building workshop for the kids, a perennials and house plants sale, vendors, and a 50/50 drawing. Food items also will be available.
All proceeds will benefit the Brewster Sugar Creek Township Historical Society. For more information or questions, call 330-767-0045.
The Wandle House and Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed Monday. Admission is free.
