Harbaugh to visit USW Local 2737
Ken Harbaugh, candidate for the OH-7 Congressional district, will host his eighth Country Over Party Town Hall at the USW Local 2737 Lodge in Dover from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23.
Voters in Tuscarawas County and the surrounding areas can meet Harbaugh, discuss both differences and shared values, and consider the need for solutions in politics today.
Harbaugh, a former Navy pilot and veteran of the nonprofit sector, has garnered wide-ranging support in recent months for his service-minded approach to politics, his sense of civic responsibility and his willingness to fight for all Americans. Harbaugh has a long history of placing national service above self and is disappointed by the gridlock in the nation’s capital.
“Washington is broken,” he said. “All of us, no matter who we voted for in the last election, send our representatives there to work on our behalf, to solve problems and get the job done. Our current Congress has failed to do that.”
To change this culture, Harbaugh has launched a 15,000 Families Initiative. His team is knocking on thousands of doors in the OH-7 to learn how best to serve local communities.
Harbaugh’s desire to hear the needs of so many individuals is closely intertwined with his vision of public service: “When we put country over party and service before ourselves, we can build a better Ohio,” he said.
All are welcome at this event.
