Library hosts name-that-tune-style program
The Dover Public Library invites patrons of all ages to Songs of Our Lives, a celebration of the music that has shaped the last century, on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
This free program will take place in the library’s community room. Interested patrons are invited to call the library at 330-343-6123 to register or for more information on this and other programs.
Outreach librarian Linda Toohey will present this name-that-tune-style program. Songs in the presentation are based on the American Film Institute’s top-100 songs in film.
“Can you figure out the song based on the clues?” Toohey said. “Be prepared to sing along as we explore some great music together at this fun program.”
Toohey presents educational programs like this one at area care facilities and community centers to give patrons the opportunity to experience programs outside of library walls. This is the first time Songs of Our Lives will be presented in the library’s community room.
