NewPointe Community Church is a thriving and growing group of more than 3,500 people across multiple locations in Northeast Ohio, and this summer we are going to the movies.
Movies are something we all love. They are inspiring, creative, fun, and full of suspense and adventure. And while they do all of that – they communicate what our culture thinks is popular and right. In this four-week summer series, At the Movies, we want to take a look at some modern classics, uncover what those movies are communicating and connect the dots to the Bible and the truth it is teaching us.
We are transforming our facilities into some of Hollywoods most iconic films. Decorating our hallways is a way of creating an environment that is fun and engaging for the entire family, said David DAngelo, executive pastor of ministry.
We love to help people laugh and smile while they are in church. We truly believe God isnt boring and church shouldnt be either. We love seeing people use their creative talents to transform our church into a relevant environment. We dream of being a relevant place where people can use their gifts and talents for Gods glory, DAngelo continued.
