NewPointe Community Church is a thriving and growing group of more than 3,500 people across multiple locations in Northeast Ohio, and this summer we are going “to the movies.” Movies are something we all love. They are inspiring, creative, fun, and full of suspense and adventure. And while they do all of that – they communicate what our culture thinks is popular and right. In this four-week summer series, At the Movies, we want to take a look at some modern classics, uncover what those movies are communicating and connect the dots to the Bible and the truth it is teaching us. “We are transforming our facilities into some of Hollywood’s most iconic films. Decorating our hallways is a way of creating an environment that is fun and engaging for the entire family,” said David D’Angelo, executive pastor of ministry. “We love to help people laugh and smile while they are in church. We truly believe God isn’t boring and church shouldn’t be either. We love seeing people use their creative talents to transform our church into a relevant environment. We dream of being a relevant place where people can use their gifts and talents for God’s glory,” D’Angelo continued. So join us at the movies. You won’t want to miss this weekend.
