Portman to speak at Lincoln Day Dinner
U.S. Sen. Rob Portman will be the keynote speaker at the annual Tuscarawas County Lincoln Day Dinner on Friday, Feb. 23 with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Toolshed at Breitenbach Winery, located at 5773 Old Route 39, Dover.
Hosted by the Tuscarawas County Republican Party, the annual fundraiser will allow Republicans in Tuscarawas County to hear from their representatives about the issues facing the state and nation. Also attending will be Congressman Bob Gibbs and other local elected Republican officials.
Glenn Miller, Lt. commander U.S. Navy (retired), from Gnadenhutten will be a guest as he is recognized for 27 years of military service. Miller served in Southeast Asia and Vietnam, and he received two Navy Achievement Medals and three Navy Commendation Medals.
