Schrock’s Amish Farm Village to host local Art Walk, Aug. 7

On Saturday, Aug. 7, Schrock’s Amish Farm Village will host an Art Walk featuring local artists. The event will take place throughout the village and various artists will be located in each building. To participate and display artwork, call Jo Ann Hershberger at 330-893-3232. There is no fee for set up but each artist is asked to be present at their booth for the day and to be demonstrating their talent. Artists may also sell their artwork. “We discovered that we have a number of artists employed here at the village and decided to have this event to showcase their work. There is so much talent in the area that we decided to open it up to artists in the area. We have space for quite a few artists and hope to have at least 12 artists set up throughout the village. We also plan to make this an annual event for the local artists and are excited about the possibilities in the future.”
