Ada Miller obituary

                        
Ada A. Miller, 87, of Glenmont, formerly of Sugarcreek, died Feb. 10, 2010, at the home of her son, Eli, following an extended illness. Ada was born March 14, 1922, in Holmes County, to the late Andrew B. and Mary Raber. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Surviving are sons, Bob (Sue) Weaver of Nashville, Eli (Laura) Weaver of Dundee, and Dennis (Mary Jane) Weaver of Sugarcreek; son-in-law, Ivan L. Yoder of Sugarcreek; sister-in-law, Elva (Noah) Raber of Sarasota, Fla.; stepchildren, Edna (Noah) Miller of Baltic and Verba (Eli) Yoder of Clare, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and 29 stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dan D. Weaver; her second husband, Chris A. Miller; daughter, Miriam Yoder; two grandchildren, Myron and Titus Yoder; sisters, Sarah Weaver and Elizabeth Yoder; and brothers, Benjamin Raber and Noah Raber. Services were held Feb. 13, 2010, at the Norman Yoder residence, with Bishop Enos Troyer officiating. Burial was in Dan Miller Cemetery, Berlin Township. Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek. The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers Marie Troyer, Mel and Verna Troyer, and to Holmes County Hospice.
