Aden C. Schlabach, 78, of Uniontown, died Jan. 22, 2010.
Born in Sugarcreek, Aden was the owner of Adens Plumbing & Heating Service for over 45 years. He was a member of Canton Baptist Temple, where he belonged to the Faith Builders class. He was also a greeter, usher, active in visitation, and a faithful member of the mens prayer group. He enjoyed bowling and traveling with his brother, Norm. He was very proud of his three grandsons and enjoyed watching them play basketball.
Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Ferwerda; sons, Ron (Wanda) and Randall (Susan); three grandsons, Tim, Jarrod, and Evan Ferwerda; brothers, Norman and Henry (Leona) Schlabach; and sisters, Ella and Katie Schlabach and Esther Troyer.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Fannie; and brothers, Albert and Roman Schlabach.
Services were held Jan. 27, 2010, at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, Uniontown, with Pastor Delaney Young officiating. Burial was in Mount Peace Cemetery, Hartville.
