Alan Morrow obituary

                        
Alan H. Morrow, 60, of Sandyville, died Feb. 5, 2010, at his residence, following a year-long battle with cancer. Born August 19, 1949, in Canton, Alan was a son of the late Ronald and Anna Morrow. He retired in 2002 as a forklift operator at the Timken Company, Canton, and was employed as an ambulance driver for Smith Ambulance Service from 2007 until illness forced him to retire in 2008. He was an Army veteran and was a member and past master of Caldwell Masonic Lodge, Bolivar. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Morrow, whom he married in 1971; son, Elton D. (companion Tonya Tullos) of the home; daughter, Alisha M. (Tony) Thiel of Bolivar; four grandchildren, Emma, Amber, and Ian Morrow and Carter Thiel; sisters, Joan Fladung of Canton and Terry Foss of North Canton; brother, Ronald (Marla) Morrow Jr. of East Sparta; and numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Al’s wishes, cremation has taken place and graveside services for family and friends will be held Feb. 12, 2010, at 11 a.m., in Melscheimer Cemetery, East Sparta.
