Andy S. Yoder, 84, of Orrville, died July 26, 2012, at his home.
Andy was born June 6, 1928, in Holmes County, to the late Sam D. and Elizabeth A. Yoder, and married Edna J. Miller on Nov. 3, 1955. She survives. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, Andy is survived by daughters, Emma Yoder and Elizabeth Yoder, both of Orrville, Ada Yoder and Mary Yoder, both of Apple Creek, Edna Yoder of Tennessee, and Anna (David A.) Miller of the home; sons, Joe Yoder of Wooster, Sam Yoder of the home, and Abe (Miriam) Yoder and Daniel (Miriam) Yoder, both of Fredericksburg; 19 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and sisters, Anna (Abe) Yoder of Fredericksburg and Ada Kaufman of Walnut Creek.
He was preceded in death by a son, Andy; sister, Melinda Schlabach; brothers, Dan, Eli, and Ammon; and a grandson.
Services were held July 29, at the family residence, with Bishop Enos E. Miller officiating. Burial was in Erb Cemetery, East Union Township, Wayne County.
Spidell Funeral Home, Mt. Eaton, handled arrangements.
