Arthur Hager obituary

                        
Arthur N. Hager, 80, of Clark, died Feb. 18, 2010, at his residence, following an extended illness. Arthur was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Branchland, W.Va., to the late Edgar Justice and Letha F. Hager. He was a farmer most of his life and retired from Republic Steel, Massillon. He was an avid fox hunter and a member of the Fox Hunters Association and Liberty Gospel Church. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Hargis, whom he married in 1949; children, Cleo (Jim) Deringer of Millersburg, Roger (Nancy) Hager of New Bern, N.C., and Patsy (Jerry) Wood, Woody and Kim Hager, and Jolene (Larry) Giauque, all of Millersburg; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Verna Adkins of Ashland and Odessa (Cletis) Adkins of Wooster; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia; a grandson, Zachary Giauque; four brothers; and four sisters. Services were held Feb. 21, 2010, at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Dewey Farley officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Millersburg.
