Beverly L. Hanna

                        
Beverly L. Hanna, 76, of Glenmont went peacefully to the Lord on Thursday evening, May 8, 2014, at Majora Lane Care Center in Millersburg. Beverly was born Nov. 20, 1937 in Glenmont, and was the daughter of Charles Edward and Latha Doris (Smail) Wilson. On June 21, 1959 she married Edward G. Hanna and he preceded her in death Nov. 1, 2002. She was a member of the Nashville Church of Christ. She was a 1955 graduate of Glenmont High School and right out of high school Beverly began working as a bookkeeper for the Wayne County National Bank. She was a secretary for the Millersburg Christian Church where she taught Sunday school and youth group and also sang in the choir. Beverly developed her own business called Valley Craft and Gift shop and enjoyed that business for 20 years. She is survived by three sons, Kevin J. (Margaret) Hanna of Glenmont, David W. (Kim) Hanna of Glenmont, and Bradley W. (Crystal) Hanna of Big Prairie; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two sisters, Marie (Larry) Smith of Holmesville and Frances (Jerry) Wile of Shreve. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Edward Hanna. Memorial services were held at 8 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Nashville Church of Christ in Nashville, with pastors Dan Kirtlan and Brad Dodson officiating. Friends called one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Alexander Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Nashville Church of Christ Building Fund or to the Ohio Christian Children’s Home of Wooster.
