Catherine A. Walters, 91, a lifelong resident of Dover, died Feb. 5, 2010, at Country Club Retirement Center, Dover.
Born May 22, 1918, in Dover, Catherine was the daughter of the late Ralph and Carmella Cua. She was a retired press operator for Dover Molded Products and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover. She enjoyed crocheting and reading, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Marc (Jill) Walters of Spencerville; daughter, Marsha (Fred) Bonecutter of Dover; five grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) Walters, Patrick Walters, Aaron (Mandy) Propp, Adam (Valerie) Propp, and Andy (Liz) Propp; a great-grandson, Hayden Walters; brother, Louis Cua of New Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Tuke Walters; brothers, Dominic, Nick, and Ralph Cua; and sisters, Mary (Cua) Hoffman and Vicky (Cua) Ellis.
At Catherines request, cremation will take place and Fr. Matt Hoover will officiate private memorial services at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. She will be buried in Calvary Cemetery, Dover. There are no calling hours.
