Christopher Dean Byrom, 39, formerly of Dover, died July 10, 2012, in Tucson, Ariz., where he had resided for the past 12 years.
A son of Dean Byrom of Dover, Chris was born Nov. 27, 1972, at Union Hospital, Dover. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Dover, and a graduate of Dover High School. During high school, he was an active member of the bands percussion section. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed collecting players cards, as well as a fan of racing and a car enthusiast.
Chris obtained a bachelors degree in business administration and was currently employed by the University of Arizona while preparing to begin his masters degree coursework with the University of Phoenix.
Chris is survived by his grandmother, Darlene Byrom of Dover; sister, Tessa Byrom of Columbus; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orliage Byrom.
Graveside services were held August 4, in Dover Burial Park, with Rev. Chris Lowery officiating.
