Daniel Hordak obituary

                        
Daniel Hordak, 72, of Coshocton, formerly of Toledo, died Jan. 17, 2010, at his home, following an extended illness. Daniel was born April 12, 1937, in Toledo, to the late John and Angeline Hordak. He attended Woodward High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the city of Toledo and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Millersburg, and the VFW in Toledo. Surviving are children, Deborah Babuscio of Coshocton, Melinda (John) Almaguer and Michael (Christie) Edmonds, both of Toledo, and Kimberly (Bill) Grimm of Samaria, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Hordak and Leonard “Duke” (Roberta) Hordak, both of Toledo; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Suzzette Hordak, whom he married in 1990; a brother and his wife, Edward and Esther Hardak; and sister-in-law, Marg Hordak. Services were held Jan. 21, 2010, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Millersburg, with Father Ronald J. Aubry officiating. Burial was in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Cemetery, Glenmont, with military rites being conducted by the Killbuck VFW. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Coshocton County.
