Diana Garble obituary

                        
Diana Lynn Garble, 54, of Tuscarawas, died Feb. 15, 2010, at Union Hospital, Dover, following an extended illness. A daughter of Dorothy Garble of Tuscarawas and the late John J. Garble II, Diana was born Dec. 26, 1955, in Martins Ferry. She graduated from Buckeye West High School, Adena, in 1974, and continued her education at Ashland University, graduating in 1978 with Bachelor of Science degree in education. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee of 19 years for Cable Manufacturing & Assembly Company, Bolivar, where she worked as a traffic manager. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Uhrichsville. Diana enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers Basketball program as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a collector of Mickey Mouse memorabilia and enjoyed traveling to Florida, especially when visiting Disney World and the beach. Surviving are a sister, Carol Garble of Manchester, Conn.; brother, John Garble III of Akron; nephew, John Garble IV of Canal Winchester; niece, Janessa Garble of Morgantown, W.Va.; aunts and uncles, Connie and Harry Kiggins of Cadiz and Ann Siofletia of Deland, Fla.; close friend, Jan Dinsmore of Manchester, Conn; a very dear friend and neighbor, Kim Stoller of Tuscarawas; and numerous cousins. Services were held Feb. 19, 2010, at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory, New Philadelphia, with Rev. Harry Milligan officiating. Burial was in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover.
