Fannie Yoder obituary

                        
Fannie A. Yoder, 85, of Millersburg, died Jan. 30, 2010, at her residence, following a period of declining health. Fannie was born May 13, 1924, to the late Andrew E. and Annie Schlabach. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Surviving are children, Allen A. (Maureen) Yoder of Millersburg, David A. (Elsie) Yoder of Wilmot, and Betty (Rueben) Miller of the home; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sister, Erma Miller of Fredericksburg; brother, David A. Schlabach of Westby, Wis.; sisters-in-law, Mary Schlabach and Fannie (Daniel E.) Schlabach; foster brother, Daniel “Sonny” Troyer; and stepsister, Erma (Joe) Hershberger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew E. Yoder, whom she married in 1945; brother, Alvin Schlabach; sisters, Elizabeth Raber and Effie Miller; stepbrothers, Abe, Henry, Eli, Atlee, Jonas, and Andy Jr. Weaver; and stepsisters, Mattie Miller, Fannie Stutzman, Verna Miller, Ella Miller, and Lovina “Maggie” Yoder. Services were held Feb. 2, 2010, at the residence, with Bishop Albert N. Yoder officiating. Burial was in Hershberger Cemetery, Berlin Township. Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek.
