Iva Mast
Iva Mast, age 73, of Hartville, and currently residing in Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away on Nov. 7, 2021.
She loved sewing and cross-stitching. Iva was a faithful member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
Iva was the daughter of the late John and Alma (Schlabach) Wittmer and wife to the late John Henry Mast. She was a loving and caring sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her seven children, five daughters and two sons: Elsie (Dallas) Martin of Cuyahoga Falls,; Melinda (Ron) Burke of Aurora, Colo.; Rachel (Mast) Erdie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mary Ann (Bobby) Sands of Canton; Carolyn Mast of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Robert (Amanda) Mast of Vanleer, Tenn.; and Jason Mast of Hartville. Also left to cherish her memory are 14 grandchildren: Michaela Burke, Joseph and Christian Erdie, Caleb and Alex Diaz, Chyenne and Dyllan Sands, Brandin Williams; and Connor, Kelsey, Aubrey, Rylan, Heidi and Kendrick Mast. She is additionally survived by three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Serenity and Adalyn Malone; two siblings, Martha (Marvin) Miller of Mifflinburg, Pa. and Edna (Elmer) Yoder of Hartville; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, a host of cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Henry Mast; brother-in-law, Stephen King; and her parents.
Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the Cornerstone Community Chapel at 1250 Edison St NW, Hartville. Interment followed at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Hartville. Hopkins-Lawver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
