James Eric Cayhoe

                        
James Eric Cayhoe, 48, of Millersburg passed away suddenly at his home May 7, 2014. He was born July 2, 1965 in Millersburg to Richard and Verla (Smith) Cayhoe. On July 3, 2008 he married Cindy Purdy. He worked at Genie Overhead Garage Doors in Baltic. He was in remission from lung cancer for the last four years. He enjoyed going to stock car races, listening to AC/DC, cooking out, playing cornhole, riding four-wheelers with his wife and spending time with his wife and friends. He was an outgoing person and talked to everyone and was not afraid to try new things. He is survived by his wife of six years; two stepchildren, Kimberly Purdy of Clark and Cody Householder of the home; his mother and stepfather, Verla and Gary Brink of Millersburg; two sisters, Jodee and DJ Sonney of Pensacola, Fla. and Jennifer and Erik Grassman of Fredericksburg, and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his wife, the love of his life; his stepchildren; sisters; mother and stepfather, and his dogs who were his babies. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Cayhoe; a brother, Eddie Cayhoe; an uncle, Homer Cayhoe and two aunts, Shirley Walkerow and Mary Barnett. A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Church of the Savior in Wooster, with pastor Jerry Durham officiating. Friends called from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg. I love you Jim Cayhoe, the love of my life, till we meet again in heaven you will always be in my heart and thoughts, love you, gone but not forgotten.
