James M. Rinehart, 31, of Dover, died Feb. 21, 2010. James was born July 16, 1978, in Dover, to Rick and Therese Rinehart of Dover and Carol Hostetler of Texas. He was a big sports fan. While in school, he ran track for the Dover High track team. He also enjoyed playing recreational basketball was a passionate follower of football and basketball on television. Surviving are his paternal grandparents, Edward and Donna Rinehart of Dover; brothers, Shawn Rinehart of New Philadelphia and Michael Rinehart of Dundee; stepsister, Erin Gorsich of Oregon; and nieces and nephews who will miss “Uncle James” as well. He was preceded in death by his stepgrandparents, Paul and Mary Brown; and an infant sister, Rachel Jean Rinehart. Services will be held Feb. 25, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, with David Carrick officiating. Interment will be in Dover Burial Park.
