John Kissel obituary

                        
John C. Kissel III, 47, of Newcomerstown, died Jan. 26, 2010, at Union Hospital, Dover, following a courageous battle with cancer. A son of John C. Kissel and his companion, Judy West, and Sandra Olinger and her husband, Chuck, John was born Jan. 23, 1963, in Coshocton. He was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School and went on to become a co-owner of J & J Cores, Newcomerstown. Being outdoors, enjoying Harley motorcycles, and dirt biking were a few of John’s favorite pastimes, and he had found great companionship with his canine friend, Clarabel. Surviving are the mother of his children, Laurel Kissel of Newcomerstown; children, Keelyne, Nash, and Ryker, all of the home; sister, Shelly (Richard) Lehman of New Philadelphia; his maternal grandmother, Donna Bean of New Philadelphia; a niece and nephew; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John C. and Sarah Kissel; and his maternal grandfather, Clyde Tom Bean. In keeping with his wishes, John will be cremated through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory, Dover.
