Kathryn Jane Lautenschleger

                        
Kathryn Jane Lautenschleger, 86, of Baltic died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home in Walnut Creek following a brief illness. She was born Nov. 17, 1927 in Coshocton County to the late Floyd and Esta (Goss) Lautenschleger. She was retired from Baltic Rubber and Plastics and was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Baltic. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, cooking and baking. She is survived by her two brothers, Roland Lautenschleger of Sugarcreek and Jacob (Lois) Lautenschleger; two sisters, Erma (Glenn) Lorenz of Coshocton and Mary Lou (Dean) Huprich; three sisters-in-law, Marlene Lautenschleger of Baltic, Carol Lautenschleger of Strasburg and Louise Lautenschleger of Baltic; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd Jr., Glen and Richard; sister-in-law, Donna Jean Lautenschleger; and nephew, Brian Lorenz. In keeping with Kathryn’s wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Baltic with pastor James Henniger officiating. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Baltic. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the church prior to memorial services. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. The family is requesting memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund of Zion United Church of Christ, P.O.
