Katie W. Hershberger, 65, of Millersburg, died August 5, 2012, at her home, following a six-month illness. Katie was born August 20, 1946, in Holmes County, to the late William E.J. and Fannie Miller, and married Samuel L. Hershberger on June 19, 1990. He died in 2009. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Katie is survived by children, Doris Ann Miller of the home, Lovina (Junior) Miller of Millersburg, Barbara (Lester) Schlabach of Dundee, Ruby (Aden) Miller, Emma (Vernon) Miller, and Reuben (Elsie) Hershberger, all of Millersburg, Willis (Susie) Hershberger of Fredericksburg, and Sara Esther (Owen Jr.) Mullet of Middlefield; 31 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jonas W. (Anna) Miller, Abe W. (Clara) Miller, Emanuel W. Miller, and Allen W. (Esther) Miller, all of Millersburg; and sisters, Sarah W. Miller of Fredericksburg and Esther W. Yoder of Millersburg. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Edna Mullet; a son-in-law; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Emma W. Schlabach. Services will be held August 7, at 9 a.m., at the Roy J. Miller residence, with Bishop Andrew A. Schlabach officiating. Burial will be in Hershberger Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the family home. Spidell Funeral Home, Mt. Eaton, is handling arrangements.
