Lisa V. (Garbrandt) Murphy, 41, of Uhrichsville, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 23, 1971 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Gerald L. and Rosalie P. (Rouse) Garbrandt.
A life resident of the area, Lisa attended Claymont High School and had worked for Graphic Packaging and Genie Doors. Lisa had been a member of the Uhrichsville Moose and the Dennison Eagles and enjoyed going to the movies. Lisas greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Lisa is survived by her children, Lacie Hanshaw and fiancé James Lusk of Dennison and Dylan Dessecker of Uhrichsville; grandchildren Kyra and Jayleana Lusk; sisters, Lori Freed of Uhrichsville and Michelle Garbrandt Moon and husband Charles Moon of Gainesville, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with her wishes, Lisa will be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013 from noon until 8 p.m. at Take Two, 215 N. Water St., Uhrichsville. Those wishing to honor Lisas memory with a memorial donation are encouraged to do so in care of Dylan Dessecker at any First National Bank of Dennison location to help with her final expenses.
