Marylin L. Ackert, 69, died June 1, 2012, at the Holmes County Home, Holmesville.
Marylin was born August 14, 1942, in Killbuck, to the late Paul Ackert and Ruth Ackert-Jones. She moved to the county home with her father in 1982, where she became a family member. She was one of those rare persons who grabbed the heart strings of all who knew her and will be tremendously missed by family, staff, and residents.
Marylin is survived by brothers, Larry Ackert of Danville and Charles Robert Ackert of Covington, R.I.
Her brother, James Ackert, preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held July 31, in Killbuck Cemetery, with Pastor Ed Stivers officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
