Nancy L. Corbett, age 72 of Orrville, died Thursday, May 9, 2019, at her residence in Orrville, following a period of declining health.

Nancy was born Feb. 27, 1947, in Akron to the late Andrew and Mary (Drexler) Fedor. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1964 and had attended Wayne College.

Nancy was the owner and operator of Corbett's Kennel for 30 years, co-owned Perm-A-Tan with her daughter and then worked as a sales clerk for Ace Hardware at Buehler's in Orrville, retiring in 2014.

Nancy was a member of VFW Post 3446 and the American Legion Post 282 in Orrville. She also was a member of the former Moose Lodge in Orrville. She enjoyed gambling at travel destinations, card clubs, game nights, and supporting and following her family, especially her grandkids.

Surviving are her daughter, Suzanne M. “Suzi” (James) Good of Orrville; two sons, David J. (Joni) Corbett of Orrville and Timothy Corbett of Alabama; grandchildren, Jessica Baer, Cameron Good, Farra (Juan) Miron, and Matthew, Mason and Dillion Corbett; and a sister, Mary Ann Ashburn of Alabama.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sons, J. Michael Corbett and Daniel Corbett; grandson, Nicholas Corbett; sister, Darlene Stephens; brother, Robert Fedor; and special friend, Jay Sommers.

Nancy was a kind and generous soul. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. To honor her, a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Orrville VFW, 430 W. Market St., Orrville, on Tuesday, May 14 from 4-7 p.m. Bring pictures and stories to share.
