Albert J. Margo, 89, of Strasburg, died March 2, 2010, at Park Village Health Care Center, Dover. Born May 19, 1920, in Dover, Albert was a son of the late George and Louisa Margo. He retried in 1977 from Republic Steel, Massillon, after 37 years of service, and was a member of the former St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Strasburg, and a life member of the Charles Hofer Post of the Strasburg American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, where he received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Surviving are his wife, Freda Margo; children, George (Beth) Margo of Strasburg, Daniel Margo and Randy Bishop, both of Philadelphia, Albert H. Margo of Dover, Linda Sue (Tom) McKenzie of Magnolia, and Ronald (Patty) Margo of Strasburg; stepsons, David Vincent of Mansfield and James Vincent of East Canton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolanda Margo; six sisters; and four brothers. Funeral Mass was held March 5, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover, with Fr. Matt Hoover officiating.
