James Alvin “Alvie” Rennicker III, 19, of Uhrichsville, died unexpectedly March 15, 2010. Born June 15, 1990, in Massillon, James was a son of James A. “Alvin” Rennicker II and Laura A. Mangus. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Claymont High School before working with his father at H&M Tire. He was a devoted athlete who loved running, playing basketball, and working out. He loved the outdoors and had recently developed an interest in hunting. Most of all, he loved the time that he spent with his buddies. Surviving are his parents, Alvin and Lora Rennicker of Uhrichsville and Laura and Richard Mangus of Gnadenhutten; sister, Helen M. Rennicker of Uhrichsville; brothers, Steven A. Rennicker of Gnadenhutten and Thomas Rennicker of Uhrichsville; a niece, Elaina Rennicker of Uhrichsville; grandparents, Jim and Shirley Rennicker of Uhrichsville and Pam and Glenn Gentry of Bolivar; stepgrandparents, Sandy Mangus, Bill Keller, and M.J. and Lestena Lehigh, all of Uhrichsville; great-grandparents, Dolly and Roy Gentry of Bolivar; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Margaret “Marty” Keller; and stepgrandfather, Ron Mangus. Memorial services will be held March 20, 2010, at 7 p.m., at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Dennison, with Rev. Glenn Gentry officiating. Interment will be in Holmes Cemetery near New Philadelphia. Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7 p.m.
