Isabelle Adkins, 73, of Dundee, died May 4, 2010, at her home, following an extended illness. Isabelle was born August 29, 1936, in Wayne County, West Virginia, to the late Charles and Sarah Coburn. She was a member of United Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, David S. Adkins Sr., whom she married in 1952; children, Helen (Harry) Holderbaum, Carol (Cliff) Sayre, Crystal (C.K.) Williamson, and David Jr. (Deb) Adkins, all of Dundee; godson, Jeff McCarty of Dundee; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Poly Workman of Florida, Naomi and Dock Lambert of Michigan, Henrietta and Joe Taylor of Michigan, and Manderville “Bill” and Mary Coburn of Big Prairie. She was preceded in death by a sister, brother, and son-in-law. Services were held May 8, 2010, at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Rev. Paul Daniels officiating. Burial was in Killbuck Cemetery.
