Mary Neiss, 90, of Dalton, formerly of West Lebanon, died May 23, 2010, following a period of declining health. Mary was born Jan. 8, 1920, in Massillon, to the late Thomas and Carrie Morgan. She was a member of West Lebanon United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Faithful Friends, and had served as the choir pianist for many years. She assisted her husband for more than 50 years in the operation of Neiss Body and Equipment Corporation, Dalton. Surviving are children, Susan (Rick Oyler) Coker of Dalton and John (Marla) Neiss of West Lebanon; granddaughter, Morgan Neiss; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Neiss, whom she married in 1946; grandson, Matthew Neiss; sisters, Stella Nickles and Fay Keefer; and brother, George Ricksecker. Services will be held May 25, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Spidell Funeral Home, Mt. Eaton, with Pastor Linda Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville.
