Mildred M. Peacock, 91, of Orrville, formerly of Midvale, died May 31, 2010, at the home of her daughter, following a period of declining health.
Mildred was born March 4, 1919, in New Cumberland, to the late Elmer and Myrtle Renicker. For a number of years, she was employed by the former Berger Division of Republic Steel, Canton, Nickels Bakery, Navarre, New Era Potato Chips and Bell and Howell, both of Wooster. Additionally, she held memberships with the Women of the Moose and the Eagles Auxiliary, both of Wooster.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Blair of Orrville; grandchildren, Scott Blair, Tonya (Dan) Besancon, Shade (Jodi) Blair, and Tony (Angie) Blair; brother, Jerry Renicker; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Fred Peacock; an infant son; sisters, Helen McCartney, Dorothy Rusher, and Pauline Skwara; and brothers, Robert and Elmer Renicker.
Services were held June 2, 2010, at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory, New Philadelphia, with Rev. Dr. Steven Bailey officiating. Burial was in East Avenue Cemetery, New Philadelphia.
