Ada Hershberger, 81, of Fryburg, died August 29, 2011, at Walnut Hills Nursing Home, Walnut Creek, following a period of declining health. Ada was born Nov. 28, 1929, in Holmes County, to the late Jacob and Catherine Hershberger, and had lived all her life in this area. She was a retired nurse and a member of Sonlight Chapel near Maysville. Surviving are a sister, Clara Hershberger of Walnut Creek, with whom she had made her home; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Services will be held Sept. 1, at 10 a.m., at Sonlight Chapel, 8721 Mt. Hope Rd., Apple Creek, with Pastor Ray Shaum officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call August 31, from 4-8 p.m. Spidell Funeral Home, Mt. Eaton, is handling arrangements.
