Pauline Alice “Polly” Henry, 90, of Wooster, died Sept. 11, 2011. Polly was born June 7, 1921, in Akron, to the late Herman and Sally Jorgensen. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel. Surviving are her loving children, Bill (Fay), David (Debbie), Jo Anne Henry, Karen Good, and Mariellen Yappel; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry; brother, Paul Jorgensen; granddaughter, Stephanie Good; and grandson, Nicholas Weigle. The family would like to thank the Inn at Belden Village and Smithville-Western Care Center for all their love and care. Throughout life’s difficulties, Polly remained a sweet soul. Requiem high Mass will be held Sept. 15, at 11 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Akron, with Father Leo Carley officiating. Family and friends may call Sept. 14, from 4-7 p.m., at Schermesser Funeral Home, Akron, where a Rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg. Memorial contributions may be made in Polly’s name to the church.
