OBITUARY

                        
Betty Dorsey Betty J. Dorsey, 85, of Dover, died Jan. 8, 2010, at Aultman Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born Oct. 2, 1924, in Dover, Betty was a daughter of the late William and Goldie Espenschied. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Joe Senior’s, and was a life member of the Dover VFW and Eagles. She retired in 1984 from Furon Fluorocarbon after 20 years of service. Surviving are a daughter, Vickie (Bill) Kohl of Dover; sons, James (Vonnie) Deal of Amsterdam and Robert (Beverly) Deal of Elyria; brothers, Ray (Pat) Espenschied of Dover, Bob (Monya) Espenschied of Minerva, and Butch (Patsy) Espenschied of Tennessee; sisters, Verna Mae Smith and Marie Gano, both of Dover, Elsie (Ward) Kutcher of New Philadelphia, Dorie Rowland of Tennessee, Maxine Robinson of Delroy, Helen Stewart of Tennessee, and Wanda (Ed) Dill of Alabama; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren V. Dorsey; son, Vince Dorsey; brother, Earl Espenschied; and stepdaughter, Bonnie Dorsey. Funeral Mass was held Jan. 12, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover, with Msgr. George Schlegel officiating. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Dover.
