OBITUARY

                        
Michele Miller Michele Rae Miller, 47, of New Philadelphia, died Jan. 10, 2010, at Union Hospital, following a sudden illness. A daughter of the late Willis and Moira Tufford, Shelly, as she was known to her friends and family, was born Jan. 10, 1963, in Coshocton. She was a 1981 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and went on to work for more than 16 years at the former Mr. Donut and then later the Donut Connection, Dover. Most recently she had held a position with an area telemarketing firm which helped to raise funds for area volunteer organizations. In her spare time, Shelly enjoyed reading and working on her computer where she would chat with friends and play games online. Baking, playing the card game Skip Bo, caring for her pets, and spending time with friends and family were other passions of Shelly’s. Annually, she looked forward to the Christmas season when she would take evening drives to look at the holiday decorations and lights that brightened the night sky. Surviving are a daughter, Chelsey Miller of the home; her fiance, Donald Gordon Jr. of New Philadelphia; brothers, Michael (Rhonda) Tufford of Clinton and Marc (Marge) Tufford of Coshocton; two nephews, a niece, four great-nephews, and three great-nieces; and a number of aunts and uncles. A celebration of Shelly’s life will be held Jan. 16, 2010, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, 600 Monroe St., Dover 44622.
