OBITUARY

                        
Patsy Lou McCammon, 71, of Dover, died peacefully Sunday, at Country Club Retirement Center, Dover, following a brief illness. Born March 15, 1938, in Lewisville, Monroe County, Patsy was a daughter of the late Lester John and Nellie Elizabeth McCammon. When she was still a little girl, the family relocated to New Philadelphia. She was a 1956 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and began a career as an office secretary and computer operator for Miller Studio that spanned four decades. An avid bowler, she participated until just last year in league play at Kinser Lanes. She was a member of New Philadelphia’s First Christian Church and was a volunteer in their preschool program. Surviving are a brother, Carroll (Carolyn) McCammon of Westerville; a nephew, Michael (Pamela) McCammon of London; a niece, Michelle (John) Gallagher of Westerville; two great-nephews, Quinn and Dane Gallagher; and several cousins. A celebration of Patsy’s life was held at the Linn-Hert-Geib chapel, with Pastor Jim Borton officiating. Inurnment alongside her parents was in Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia.
