OBITUARY

                        
Freda V. Williams, 92, of Strasburg, died peacefully March 3, 2010. Born Oct. 22, 1917, in Rock Hill, Freda was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Hess. She was a wonderful homemaker and had been employed at Drop Forge, Canton, during WWII, and had also worked at Sparta Ceramics and in the mailroom at the Times Reporter. She was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughters, Joyce (Max) Bonifant, Marsha (Art) Mann, and Gail (Robert) Owen, all of Strasburg; sister, Mary Bower of New Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren, Rod, Tod, Scott (Jodi), and Chad (Valarie) Bonifant, Jody (Randy) Troyer, Jim (Tracy), Phillip (Margaret), and Don (Molly) Mann, Darren (Cheryl) Clum, Darla (Rich) Reding, and Jennifer Mahoney; two stepgrandchildren, Terry (Brenda) and Mitch (Shannon) Owen; 23 great-grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Sierra, Kiersten, Reis, Gage, Santana, Seger, and Maya Bonifant, Amanda (Zack) Wisselgren, Tyler Lester, Chris, Eric, Issac, and Tasha Mann, Jeremy Westfall, Emma, Ian, and Isabella Clum, Olivia Gardinsky, Wyatt Reding, and Marissa and Sarah Van de Vusse; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren, Tiffany Gerber, Tara Page, Trisha Troyer, Monica and Maddy Willis, Angie (Jason) Jones, Anthony Hershberger, and Greg, Samantha, Emily, Karah, Rachel, Jacob, Joan, Madalyn, and Michael Owen; four great-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Haley Wisselgren and Ty and Alexis Mann; and five stepgreat-great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lindsey, and Jessie Jones and Mitchell and Bradon Troyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson R. Williams; son, Larry Gene Williams; seven brothers; and six sisters. Services will be held March 6, 2010, at 11:30 a.m., at Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynda K. Masters officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Union Cemetery, Strasburg.
