Mary G. Esh, 65, of Orrville, died March 8, 2010, at Akron City Hospital, following a three-month illness. Mary was born Dec. 26, 1944, in Star City, W.Va., to George Sr. and Jean Hunt. She had been a resident of Orrville for over 50 years and was a homemaker. She had been active in the American Legion Auxiliary, Jelly City Breakers CB Club, and the Sons of Herman, and was a former member of the Orrville Moose Lodge. She enjoyed euchre, bingo, and dancing. Surviving are a son, John P. (Barb) Esh Jr. of Orrville; grandchildren, Jessica, Phillip, and Doug Esh; sister, Tammy (Rick) Freed of Leachtown, W.Va.; brother, George (Sarah) Hunt Jr. of Wooster; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Esh Sr., whom she married in 1965. Burial of cremains will take place in Crown Hill Mennonite Church Cemetery at a later date.
